Midazolam B. Braun is a short-acting sleep-inducing medicinal product that is indicated:

In adults

• Conscious sedation before and during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures with or without local anaesthesia
• Anaesthesia – Premedication before induction of anaesthesia, – Induction of anaesthesia, – As a sedative component in combined anaesthesia.
• Sedation in Intensive Care Units

In children

• Conscious Sedation before and during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures with or without local anaesthesia
• Anaesthesia – Premedication before induction of anaesthesia
• Sedation in Intensive Care Units

Available in:

• glass ampoule: 5 mg / 1 ml; 15 mg / 3 ml
• Mini-Plasco^® connect: 5 mg / 5 ml ; 50 mg / 10 ml
• Ecoflac^® plus: 50 mg / 50 ml; 100 mg / 100 ml

Advantages:

Midazolam is available in the user friendly Mini-Plasco^® connect container system. For easier titration during diagnostic procedures, the 5 ml presentation contains a prediluted concentration of 1 mg/ml, whereas the 10 ml with a total dose of 50 mg is particularly suited for sedation in ICU.
