Space®Control (SGC)
The device automatically collects the information from the insulin pump and the nutrition pumps (e.g. history and current infusion status) and additional data from meals and blood glucose measurements, displays the current delivery rates and provides the user interface for the SGC therapy. Parameters relevant to therapy, as well as the course of therapy, are shown on the display. All entries are made on the touch screen. The device carries out alarm and time monitoring until the next blood glucose measurement. The SpaceControl initiates new calculations of the insulin dose rate using the SGC algorithm in the SGC Module.
