3-chamber bag parenteral nutrition for high energy and moderate protein supply

Therapeutic indications: 

For patients in states of moderate to severe catabolism when oral or enteral nutrition is impossible, insufficient or contraindicated: 

• Central venous parenteral nutrition (PN) for supply of energy, amino acids, electrolytes, fluids and lipids (Lipoplus®/Lipidem® with Omega-3) 
• Indicated in adult patients and children older than 2 years on parenteral nutrition (PN) 
• Suitable for total PN and/or supplementary PN in combination with enteral nutrition 
• Easy to calculate: 1 ml ~ 1 kCal 

Example of Indications: 

• Critically ill patients in the post-acute phase 
• Chronically ill patients 
• Cancer patients without inflammation 
• Patients with high caloric and fluid needs (2500 ml large volume bag)

Admixing Nutriflex® Omega plus:

• Can be mixed with multiple additives, such as electrolytes, phosphate, alanyl-glutamine, trace elements or vitamins, e. g. Tracutil® and Viant® from B. Braun
