3-chamber bag parenteral nutrition for high energy and high protein supply

Therapeutic indications: 

For patients in states of moderate to severe catabolism when oral or enteral nutrition is impossible, insufficient or contraindicated. 

• Central venous parenteral nutrition (PN) for supply of energy, amino acids, electrolytes, fluids and lipids (Lipoplus®/Lipidem® with Omega-3) 
• Indicated in adult patients and children older than 2 years on PN 
• Suitable for total PN and/or supplementary PN in combination with enteral nutrition 

Examples of Indications: 

• Critically ill patients in the acute, post-acute, post-ICU, and recovery phases 
• Cancer patients with and without inflammation
• Patients with acute injuries 
• Patients with major burns 
• Patients requiring supplemental PN with small bag (625 ml)

Admixing Nutriflex® Omega special: 

• Can be mixed with multiple additives, such as electrolytes, phosphate, alanyl-glutamine, trace elements or vitamins, e. g. Tracutil® and Viant® from B. Braun 
• Please note: B. Braun also provides Nutriflex® Omega special without electrolytes.
