Nutriflex® Omega peri emulsion for infusion

3-chamber bag parenteral nutrition for supplemental energy and protein supply also allowing for peripheral venous access

Therapeutic indications: 

For patients without central venous access and/or in states of mild to moderately severe catabolism when oral or enteral nutrition is impossible, insufficient or contraindicated.

• Central venous and peripheral parenteral nutrition (PN) for supply of energy, amino acids, electrolytes, fluids and lipids (Lipoplus®/Lipidem® with Omega-3)
• Indicated in adult patients and children older than 2 years on parenteral nutrition (PN) 
• Suitable for total PN and/or supplementary PN in combination with enteral nutrition 

Example of Indications: 

• Initiation of PN for patients at risk of refeeding syndrome 

Admixing Nutriflex® Omega peri: 

• Can be mixed with multiple additives, such as electrolytes, phosphate, alanyl-glutamine, trace elements or vitamins, e. g. Tracutil® and Viant® from B. Braun
